How to Optimize Your Articles for Search Engines

Custom Search
If you want easy backlinks to your website without having to beg webmasters of other sites related to your own to link back to you, you can always resort to article marketing. Article marketing can drive loads of traffic to your website on a long-term basis. It is also a great way of connecting with your target audience, so long as the information that you put in your articles are useful and valuable to them. To make your article marketing efforts work, however, you need to employ a few SEO strategies so that your articles can help catapult your website to the top of search engine rankings. These SEO strategies mainly involve optimizing your articles for search engines with the right use of keywords. Here are three tips that can help you get that done.

1. Insert your main keyword in your article title. Search engine crawlers read the titles of any website content they encounter on the Internet to see what that content is all about. It is important that you put your main keyword as close to the beginning of your article title as possible so that these search crawlers would be able to index and rank your article properly. Placing the main keyword in the title will also tell your human readers at a glance what they can expect to learn from reading your article. For added measure, you can insert a secondary keyword in the title of your article, but do not repeat keywords within the title.

2. Include your keywords in the body of your article. Putting your keywords in the body of your article itself will reinforce the idea you have given search engine crawlers on the subject of your article. Make sure to place your keywords once within the first paragraph and the last paragraph of your article, and then occasionally blend these keywords within the middle paragraphs. Always ensure that your keywords flow naturally with your text; nothing turns off a human reader than keywords that are placed awkwardly within a sentence. Avoid keyword stuffing at all times. Article directories reject keyword-stuffed articles.

3. Use synonyms for your keywords. Instead of keyword stuffing, you should use synonyms for your keywords instead. Search engines now check the syntax of website content and consider synonyms along with the actual keywords. In addition to the obvious SEO benefit that using synonyms will give your article, your human readers will enjoy reading your article more.

Article marketing is a great way of creating backlinks to your website without having to connect with other webmasters for links. To make article marketing work for you, you need to optimize your articles for search engines. The easiest SEO strategies that you can use to achieve this are including your keywords in the title and in the body of the article, as well as using synonyms for your keywords. Optimizing your articles for search engines will help you get the most out of your article marketing efforts.

If you have set up a blog as a venue for promoting your products and services, naturally you would want readers to visit your blog. The best way to do that is to grab one of the top spots in any search engine ranking using your keywords, and there are many search engine optimization tricks that can help you do that. But what comes after SEO? The answer to that is tapping social networking sites and grabbing the attention of your target audience. For search engines, you are who you associate with, after all. The one social networking site you will want to focus on when blogging about your products and services is none other than Facebook.

Facebook has over 500 million subscribers worldwide. Even if you drive just a portion of that traffic to your blog, it will still be a staggering amount to contend with. Facebook is a great way to connect with your target audience and to boost your blog's search engine rankings. You can easily do the latter by creating a Facebook groups page and by adding the Facebook "Like" button on your site.

To create a Facebook groups page, you need to open an account if you do not have one yet. Once you have logged into your account, go to your FB homepage and click on the "groups" link located at the left-hand column. Once you have opened the groups page, you will see a button that says "Create a New Group." Click that and fill in information about your blog.

To make your FB interaction two-way, you should also place Facebook's "Like" button on your site. To do that, you click on the link that says "Developers" at the bottom of your FB homepage. It will take you to the site's resources for web developers. You can generate a code for the "Like" button on that page and customize it a little to make it fit your own website.

Of course, it does not stop with creating a groups page and adding the "Like" button to boost your blog's search engine rankings through Facebook. You still need to be persistent with your blogging and update both your blog and your FB newsfeeds regularly and frequently. In this way, you will grab the attention of your target audience, keep them entertained, and enjoy a high search engine ranking for your blog in the process.

Do you know that now you can get #1 spot in Google for your desired keywords with simple Blogging Mechanics strategy.
